This project was a joint venture by New Castle Delft, The Ouseburn Valley Education Programme and Benton Park Primary School and Milecastle First school. The children looked at the history of the Maling pottery including , it's products and design. The  project involved visits to the sites of the potteries in the Ouseburn Valley and Hoults Yard. The plates were painted  at the school using on-glaze colours and fired in my workshop  .
